Fun day!

Yesterday, the boys and I ventured to the East Bay to visit Kim and Amanda, and the Great-grandparents. Kim was my college roomie and a great friend! I miss her so much! She has a beautiful daughter, Amanda, who will be 1 in August, and I had not seen her yet! We had fun, letting the kids play and play, and hanging out at a neat park. My boys loved it! Wish we had some cool parks like that near us.
And then we ended the day having dinner at Joe's grandparents. Coop ate three bowls of Nana's pasta! The kid who doesn't eat for me...Nana, I need your recipe!!! Spencer had 2 bowls of dessert...A nice summer day and luckily my kiddos are good in the car! Give them music, their blankies and a few toys/books, and they are set!
Unfortunately, did not take any pics....just imagine our smiling faces. :-)
Now we are off the free movies this morning! Barnyard, here we come!

We went to the....

...Fresno Zoo! We had a nice time, Cooper was so good! I think he is trying to prove to us that he should not be left home again....our Disneyland trip! No, Coop, you won't be left home again. :-) Spencer touched a manta ray! That was a highlight. He said it felt like "a popsicle"! That evening, we had dinner with my parents, home safe from Arizona and a 2 day visit with the San Diego Littrells. They had a nice visit and brought home moccasins for the boys. And sarsaparilla...yum!

It was a nice way to wrap up our break and now it is back to school. Spencer was excited to go back to school and play with his friends, and his current "crush", Katelynne. Hee-hee.

But I am doing the summer break count-down...7 weeks to go! This school year has been great, but long in some ways...

I am taking a digi scrapping class this month online. It has been a lot of fun, I'll see if I can post some of my creations. For now, check out Sally's blog for her great creations!

Happy Birthday to Jake and Kyle! We went to cousin Jake's party last night...he's 4! He got a skateboard for his birthday. He was very excited! Today we went to Kyle's party...he's 1! His party was the gymnastics center where Spence used to take "nastics", as he called it. The kids had a blast! They were running all over the place. Both of my boys conked out once we got home. Even Daddy got in on the action...he was on the rings doing flips and on the trampoline. Kyle's Daddy is his good friend, so they had fun. Have a great week!
