3 days late...

Pictures are Spencer on his *new* bike, and Spencer and Jake at pre-school. Still here...worked at the pre-school today (spencer attends a co-op pre-school, which means the parents are required to work weekly. We help facilitate circle time and plan 2 days of lessons each semester, plus additional jobs: mailbox, garden, plan parties, special themes, etc. It can be a lot of work, but so much fun! I have worked the last 3 days in a row and loved it since I rarely get to go this year. Joe is the weekly worker. He loves it, too! There are two teachers, who are both wonderful! It has been a great experience!)

Anyway, worked at the pre-school, danced and jumped during music, and then went to the park for the Friday pre-school playdate. If you know my cooper, you know I wasn't able to just sit with the other mamas and chat, I was chasing my cooper around a bit. He adores playing with the kids, but also climbing, climbing, and more climbing. But....needless to say, none of that activity has brought on contractions or my water breaking....Baby K is stubborn!!!! Keep sending those labor vibes! :-)

2 days late...

...and still here...man, this waiting is hard! Worked at Spencer's pre-school again today, went to a birthday party...so keeping busy. I told a friend I would work for her tomorrow at the pre-school again...as long as I haven't gone into labor...kinda hoping I will be! Please send me some labor vibes....:-)

Nope

No baby yet...just a quick update.

Everyone at Spencer's pre-school said it looked like I have "dropped", but I guess we'll see. Leaving you with a pic of me and the boys yesterday. :-)

Updates Galore!

First, Halloween...the boys had a great day! Both had parties at their school. Joe went with Spence to pre-school, and Spence was a police officer and Joe was a convict! He said their costumes were a hit. Cooper was supposed to Spider Man, but at the last minute he discovered Spencer's old Disney Dalmation costume and he wanted that. In fact, he was worn it everyday since Halloween. We even went to Costco last night and he was wearing it!

Halloween night we went to a Harvest Festival at church. The boys loved it, but we left early because it is our tradition to trick-or-treat with the Adrian Family every year. Monica didn't go out with 1 year old Kyle, but the the rest of us went and got tons of candy. Cooper was loving it! He has a big sweet tooth. So Halloween was a success this year!

The next day we had out ultrasound and found out baby #3 is a GIRL! I was so shocked! I had been thinking maybe it was a girl...this pregnancy is different...but this week had gone back to thinking it was a boy. Spencer has been insistent since he found out he was getting a new baby that is is girl, so he knew! Yes, we are thrilled! but it also means starting all over with baby gear! We don't have any baby stuff anymore anyway, but definitely need bedding and clothes and all the pink things girls need! So excited! We are stuck with names, need to look around some more. I have been very indecisive with this pregnancy, anyway....

So that's our week in a nutshell. We had a great visit with Jenny and Justin last weekend, and went to a wedding. Spencer danced the night away with Ashland. He has a crush! It was very cute!

Better go, Spence has been asking me to play...

Yes, it's true!

You may have heard.....

yes, it's true....we're having a baby! #3...surprise! We are excited, though nervous, too. Just when you decide that two, two busy boys, are enough...yes, we will find out when the time is ready....and the good news is that I get to go on maternity leave! :-)Those of you who know how my year is going will understand...(Kim, if you are reading this...I have tried to call you several times, but we are totally missing each other...sorry, wanted to tell you in person!!!)
Last night we went to a wedding, Joe was best man for his friend Forrest. It was beautiful! Outside in her parent's backyard and the HOT weather cooled down, so it was a perfect night. Thebride, Kristine, was beautiful in a sleek dress...tall and blonde. It was fun! I danced most of the night with some friends and of course, my dancing twin Jillian! When Jillian and I are at a wedding together, we are always out on the dance floor shaking our white girl selves!
The bride and groom even hosted a party at their house afterward...but I went home to my babies, who woke up and both crawled into bed with me. Needless to say, I am exhausted today!

She's here!

Baby news: Lillian Emily (to be called Lily) is here! She was born yesterday to our friends Chip and Vicki. She's a gorgeous, big baby (9 lbs, 6 oz...if I am correct). Joe and I drove down to LA, picking up Ryan on the way, and surprised Chip and Vicki at the hospital in Fullerton! They were excited! I think Chip needed that, it had been a long night for them...We swooped him out and went to dinner so Vicki could rest. It was a great time! I am so excited for them! Welcome to parenthood!
And then Joe and I drove home that night, after a quick visit in Burbank with Ryan and Jillian. It was snowing so hard on the grapevine, which we didn't even realize for a while. We thought it was just hard rain, but no, I finally looked to the side and saw snow! Wow, was it windy, too! We saw police escorts on the other side, and realized we probably had just missed having an escort. We were tired, but happy to be home at 3 AM. And of course, my lovely son Spencer, who I missed on our trip to LA, woke up early today...so I am looking forward to naptime, to say the least!
Happy birthday also to Tyler, Spencer & Cooper's cousin. And Margo, Cooper's precious babysitter....Jan. 4 is a great day to be born!:-)
