Pumpkins again....

So we hit up another patch today...it was OK, though we really enjoyed the corn maze! Then set to carve some pumpkins. The boys ended up wanting to paint their pumpkins...so we only got one carved. Oh well!

Looking forward to Halloween, but very afraid it's going to be a wet one! It sprinkled today and thundered...love it! Another random fact about me is that I love weather! I should have been a meteorologist. I watch the Weather Channel like regular TV. And here I am, stuck in an area with little weather. Warm, clouds, cool, rain...that's the extent of our weather. Love when Vicki posts the pictures of the stormy skies in their Texas area on her blog!
Love my Cooper...who is going to be a fireman for Halloween. He's looking forward to his "Halloween Birthday Party" at his babysitters! He thinks it's a birthday party, too...after all, isn't that when we party???

Tag...you're it!

So Jennifer from Little Green Secrets tagged me...(Hi, Jennifer....fellow Depeche Mode fan!!!)Here are the rules:
1. Link to the person or persons who tagged you. 2. Post the rules on your blog. 3. Write six random things about yourself. 4. Tag six people at the end of your post and link to them. 5. Let each person know they’ve been tagged and leave a comment on their blog 6. Let the tagger know when your entry is up.

Six (6) Random Things about me in no particular order:
1. I cannot drive stick. Sorry, Joe, I know you hate it...

2. I was bilingual as a toddler. I spoke English and Hungarian.

3. I was an actress in high school! I even did one show in college (not at UCSB, here in town) with a tiny but very funny part in Midsummer's night Dream! That was fun!

4. I met Joe in high school, and we became good friends that would joke we would get married because we had the same last name. The first time he brought me to his house, he introduced me as his future wife (we weren't dating, it was a joke!)....but how true it really was! :-)

5. Green note: I haven't used a plastic bottle since at least the beginning of August. I use my reusable bottle and love it. Only used plastic bags once since about then, too...

6. I love disco music. It makes me happy!

OK, now I am tagging...
Laura (the hottest scrapbook designer out there...check her blog and see!), Vicki, Sally, Kelli, Patti, Michelle, Steph....and anyone else that wants to do this!

And by special request, the pics of my boys climbing that that tall, weird statue out on the way to the pumpkin patch!

Pumpkins!

We went out to the pumpkin patch today...seriously the best one around since it's waay out in the country! We've gone there every year...and we'll be back since we didn't check our wallets before we left and only had $2 cash on us (who carries cash anymore these days...if you have it! LOL!)...so we only brought home one pumpkin...but it's a good excuse to go back!

The kids love it...of course. I didn't get any good pics of the 3 together, but got some cute individual shots, I think.

Not much else is new...the hot weather has returned...lucky us! Here's a shot of my Mom with her grandkids when we had her over for dinner last weekend.

Love you, Mom!

Things that make me happy...

right now.

This:
So sweet Jamie sent this to me in a giveaway she did on her blog. It was like Christmas for me, going through all my new scrapping loot! I am sooo excited to scrap!!!! Thank you thank you, Jamie!

In honor of her...here's 2 layouts I did a while ago about Cooper, both scraplifts from Jamie. I think the 3rd one is, too...can't remember...my scraplifts sometimes end up looking nothing like the ones I am attempting to scrap (which is good)...

This card because it's Mom's birthday...love you, Mom!

This pellagrino and lemon...yum...it's so refreshing....

Book Orders! Love books and luckily so do my kids...:-)

This sweet sweet girl, so content and happy...God blessed us with easy babies...

This funny kid...snuck out the peanut butter....

This great kid...he's so affectionate...adore him!

My honey with his girl....the one that will wrap him around her tiny finger...
What is making you happy right about now?

Inspirations...

...if you need something GOOD to read, check this out:

It's awesome! I am enjoying it a lot! Very inspiring! It's about a man who is bringing schools to the Pakistani people. Check it out!!!

And I ran across this quote:

What would you DO if you knew you wouldn't fail?

Hmmm....just do it! :-) Gotta go..Kendall is trying to eat the computer cord! Eeek!!!

Soccer champ

Soccer season is over for us this year...but Spencer loved it. I had to skip out on his last night because it was too windy and cool to take Kendall out there, so I snapped these before he and Joe left for practice. Cute!

Brrr...

...can't believe I am saying this, but I am cold! I'm sitting here in the dining room typing, with the windows open, and the cool wind keeps whipping through...I like the idea of the fresh air airing out our house. I've been reading about how our home's air can be more polluted than the outside air! Especially if you use all those cleaners with the yucky chemicals...I have weeded those out and only use homemade cleaners or environmentally safe cleaners...pretty easy to find nowadays! Of course, it would be dangerous if my kids got into the cleaner area (i.e. under the kitchen sink), but I feel comfortable knowing nothing under there would poison them!

We are enjoying the fall weather, but the weatherman says we will back up to the 80's next week.

So cute...Spencer just got home from a fun afternoon with Jake, Aunt Chelle, Cameron, and his mommy (I skipped out with a sleepy baby!). Cooper ran to the door and said, "Hi bruddy! I missed you!" and gave him a big hug! I really hope my boys will be best friends.

Here's some recent pics:

Kendall is *6* months old!
Someone found brothers' markers...

Spencer on picture day! When did picture day become so expensive! I bought one of the cheapest packages because the pictures aren't usually the greatest, but you HAVE to have a school picture, and it was still $30! For like 3 pictures...so of course, I took my own. We still have Cooper and Kendall's picture days coming up (their babysitter hires a photographer, too).
Cooper and his tea party!

Have a nice weekend!

San Francisco

We had a great Sunday in the city...though it didn't start off well...we gave ourselves plenty of time to get to the city, but obviously not enough, because there was a lot of traffic going onto the Oakland Bridge! We had to call Steph and tell her we were going to be late...so needless to say, we missed her children theatre's show, Snow White. However, her kids were so sweet that they recreated 3 scenes for us when we were there! Thank you!!!! The boys loved it! The show was so cute! Steph doesn't just do a show, she gives them a twist. This was a western Snow White and the Dwarfs each had a bad habit that Snow White helped them shed (Lyin' Larry, Unsharing Sharon, Sloppy Joe, etc!). Very cute! Afterward we went to Alamo Square and saw the Painted Ladies...you know the houses at the beginning of "Full House"! What a great park, the kids had a blast. We brought Maddie with us and even she, at 12, loved the park. Here's Joe and Steph!

Steph had us over to her (darling) house for dinner...yummy! What a special day! No to mention, the weather was perfect! The sky was so blue, not a cloud in the sky! Spencer was very bummed to leave that evening. He wanted to spend the night. Our kids are such good travelers...I sense more trips in our future. Little Kendall stayed home with Grammy and Grampy. She got to be the "only child"...a rare occurrence for her! :-)
Now we are back to our schedule...Spencer has Jake and Cameron over this afternoon, so they are all running around being boys! It is fun having a house full of boys!
